Maddy Wynne-Jones
Principal
Maddy has been working in London since moving from Canada in 2003, where she trained and began her professional career. She is the Artistic Director and choreographer of Tempered Body Dance Theatre, founded in 2007, Associate Company at Rich Mix. She founded and runs the Youth Dance Company and the TBDT Graduate Apprentice Programme. She is senior teacher at Highgate Ballet School and is the Artistic Director and teacher at Hendon Ballet School. Maddy trained in Cecchetti Ballet in Canada, recieving her Diploma in Dance Instruction through the ISTD, and is a qualified advisor of the Trinity Laban and Arts Council England Arts Awards Scheme.
Ellen O'Riordan
Ballet Assistant/Ballet Teacher
Ellen began dancing at the age of three, taking ballet classes in Ireland. At 16 she moved to the UK to attend Tring Park School for the Performing Arts where she trained in ballet, contemporary and jazz styles. Ellen completed her RAD classical ballet exams, receiving a distinction in Advanced 2. Ellen has been teaching dance for 2 years and has recently finished her Stott Pilates teacher training.
Hannah Rawlinson
Ballet Teacher
Hannah Rawlinson began her dance training at Highgate Ballet School in the after school classes. After completing her A-levels she gained a place at Ballet West on the classical dance HNC course and danced with the school's company on their 'Nutcracker' Asian tour. Hannah trained for three years at Kate Simmons on the classical dance and performance course gaining professional performance experience at venues such as The Lowry theatre and The Royal Albert Hall in 'Dance Proms'.
Ena Yamaguchi
Ballet Assistant
Ena began classical ballet at Hanayama Ballet School in Japan when she was 4 years old. At 15, she moved to the UK to attend the full time dance course Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, where she studied Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary dance, completing RAD Advanced 2 and Cecchetti Advanced 1 with Distinction. Ena received first place in the Contemporary Cup and second place in the Ballet Cup at the Tring Competition. In 2013, Ena was selected as a semi-finalist at Genee International Ballet Competition organised by RAD in Scotland. Currently, Ena is working with Chrysalis London and Sol Dans Company and is joining a German tour with Le Ballet Classique de Paris performing Nutcracker and Swan Lake in winter 2016.
Justin Stevens
Accompanist
Justin Stevens accompanies in various vocational schools around London including London Studio Centre and has worked with Maddy since 2007. As well as being a ballet accompanist, he is also an accomplished composer.
