This will strengthen their leg, ankle and feet muscles, as well as core strength in order to develop the necessary technique to use pointe shoes (please note, dancers wishing to be assessed for pointe work have to be taking a minimum of 2 classes a week and must be at least 11 years old) Children in Level 4 have the opportunity to achieve their BronzeArts Awards Certification.

Dancers in Primary, Level 1, Level 2A and Level 3, all work towards the Arts Awards Qualification Scheme. Teachers will spend from 3-5 Terms preparing each child for their certification. Children doing multiple classes in a week may progress more quickly. If you have any questions about Arts Awards, please don't hesitate to get in touch with the office.

PAYMENT PLAN

How does the payment plan work? Well, it's important to note that this is not a pay-as-you-go option (we don't offer that); instead, it is a slightly higher overall charge, representing the full fee at the start of term, or a pro-rata fee for new joiners starting mid-term, spread across the remaining number of weeks of term plus one. It is designed to make it easier for you to enroll your child in ballet without compromising the family budget. For example, the full term pre-primary fee for the 12-week term will be spread over 13 weeks, and will in total cost just £4 more than making a single payment, while giving the predictability of a low weekly payment. (The additional week's payment covers the higher costs of administering the weekly payment schedule.) We'd suggest that the weekly payment plan makes most sense if you're planning to use it for your full term fees at the start of term; if your child is joining late-on in the term you will probably find it better value to settle the pro-rata amount in a single payment.

Any mention of a per-week rate is intended only for purposes of illustration / comparison.
